Thoughts to ponder upon ..

  • The devil is in the details ! - When people say that the devil is in the detail, it means that small things in plans and schemes that are often overlooked can cause serious problems later on.
  • Memories play a confusing role. They make u laugh when u remember the time u cried together! But make u cry when u remember the time u laughed together.

  • Love and Attachment People often wonder how to reconcile the Buddha's teachings on non-attachment with those on love. How can we love others without being attached to them? Non-attachment is a balanced state of mind in which we cease overestimating others' qualities. By having a more accurate view of others, our unrealistic expectations fall away, as does our clinging. This leaves us open to loving others for who they are, instead of for what they do for us. Our hearts can open to care for everyone impartially, wishing everyone to be happy simply because he or she is a living being. The feeling of warmth that was previously reserved for a select few can now be expanded to a great number of people --from Taming the Mind by Bhikshuni Thubten Chodron, published by Snow Lion Publication

  • The greatest regrets in our lives are the risks we did not take. If you think something will make you happy, go for it. Remember that we pass this way only once. Love can only be constituted by a unique soul that lived in two bodies. Sweet words are easy to say, Sweet things are easy 2 buy, but sweet people are difficult to find. Life ends when U stop dreaming, hope ends when U stop believing, love ends when U stop caring, friendship ends when U stop sharing. To love without condition.to talk without intention. to give without reason .and to care without expectation.is the heart of a true friend.
  • ONE PARAGRAPH THAT EXPLAINS LIFE!................... Arthur Ashe, the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS which he got due to infected blood he received during a heart surgery in 1983. From world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed: "Why does GOD have to select you for such a bad disease"? To this Arthur Ashe replied: The world over -- 5 million children start playing tennis, 50 thousand learn to play tennis, 5 thousand learn professional tennis, 50,000 come to the circuit, 5000 reach the grand slam, 50 reach Wimbledon, 4 to semi final, 2 to the finals, When I was holding a cup I never asked GOD "Why me?". And today in pain I should not be asking GOD "Why me?"
  • SOME CRAZY THOUGHTS! ................. Do fish ever get thirsty? Why can't we sneeze with our eyes open? Did you know it is impossible to lick your elbow? If you are born on February 29 of a leap year, when is your birthday? If you stick on stickers on non-stick pans, would they stick on? Do sheep get static cling when they rub against one another? Why don't ducks duck when you shoot at them? On a telephone, why does ABC start on the number 2 and not 1? Why did Superman wear his briefs on the outside of his tights? Why do the numbers on the phone go one way, but the numbers on the calculator go the other way? What does the T in T-Shirt really mean?
